POSITION: PERSONAL TRAINER

POSITION OVERVIEW
Personal Trainers are responsible for developing safe, structured, motivational programs designed to meet the personal training client’s goals and needs. The Personal Trainer will provide a multidimensional approach to fitness training and counseling by both identifying specifics of client motivation as well as issues of client responsibilities. The Trainer will build a personal training client base that contributes to departmental revenues by conducting new personal training client appointments, maintaining an existing client base, marketing the program and services, and utilizing the highest quality of customer service. May provide fitness and nutrition education services as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Trainer must be CPR and First Aid certified. Current certification through a nationally recognized affiliation (ACE, ACSM, NSCA, etc…) is required. Previous fitness coaching and/or personal training experience is also preferred. Requires effective communication, coaching, and training skills.
