It is with sadness that I write this email to you as I am changing jobs and will no longer be in the area and able to come to your gym but I wanted to say that this is the thing working us like there's no tomorrow and she looks as though she doesn't have any bones she's that fluid.

Sarah Bon did the actual signing up for me and she was/is wonderful as well.

You have a great crew working for you and they've done wonders with a woman who has been sedentary for the last several years, I sleep better, as a diabetic my sugars are under great control and my blood pressure has dropped.

It has been a fantastic experience for me. I will be hard best gym I've ever been to and your staff are wonderful. It's so nice to have staff greet you when you come in in a pleasant and friendly manner. It goes well beyond the friendly hello and smile, they remember you by name.

Greg Gibson is the person responsible for my joining the club. He did the Biggest Loser program here at Medtronic and slowly I began to come around, I think he got the shock of his life when I joined! He has been wonderful, helpful, encouraging and an all around nice guy. He's a gem!

Kiki Hanson has done wonders for me. I take her Yoga classes and have seen such improvement in my flexibility and overall stamina and I feel absolutely wonderful after a session with her. I have been in her group Power class and love it as well. Kimberly who teaches Kick boxing is another fantastic teacher and she really works us hard and again after the class I feel great.

I also take the Zumba class and Tracy is a wonder. That tiny little pressed to find another gym this good but I live in Dracut and must find another one. I will be working in Woburn, so if you ever decide to open a gym in that area...

This place is great!!

Me and my wife have been going to this athletic club for a couple months now they have some of the best equipment I have ever used at any gym I attended in the past. My wiife love this place too she can get a great workout and get her hair done at the same place. The staff is nice and very helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a gym or day spa.

I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy the new Group Power class. I think it is fun, challenging, and reward ing. I love the music and chorography. In fact, whenever I hear any of the songs, I picture the varying tracks from class. I was always one to do basic cardio at the gym and decided to try some class at the end of the last year as an alternative to hiring a personal trainer, as I wanted more variety, and as I get older, I am need of strength and good health and figure it is never too late to start. In a vain way, too, I would love some definition in my arms and a flatter belly, so we shall see.

I am very happy with the new schedule and appreciate that the classes start at 8:45, which allows me time to get the kids situated in the babysitting room. I think you do a phenomenal job managing the fitness aspect of the gym and appreciate your humor and guidance in class. You are a pro.

I really enjoy the yoga strength of Fridays, too. Sometimes I sweat more here than in the power classes. Balance and strength are quite challenging, but the format in the way you teach is fresh each week. You challenge us without being pushy, and you teach in a very non-threatening manner. It is nice that you are able to come off the stage to offer some one-on-one pointers an d observations. This has helped a lot. You are very encouraging for beginners and vets alike.

Thanks, Kiki, for checking-in. In case colleagues, members, friends, etc., do not say it enough, you really are appreciated, as is your hard work and ded ication to your profession!

Actually its now called the Beverly Athletic Club (BAC) but close enough. Myself and my better half joined this gym a little over a month ago and must say that we're very happy with the decision. In this day and age gyms are a dime a dozen but this gym definitely ranks near the top of all we've tried and been to.

Amenities:
Two floors with many, many amenities. Indoor pool, full court b-ball court, several racquet ball courts, separate women's only gym, spin gym, stretching area, mini-shop, smoothie bar, whirlpool, dry and wet sauna in each locker room, free weight area, machine area so you can cycle through all of your muscle groups quickly, huge area with tons of ellipse trainers, tread mills, stair climbers, tread climbers, bicycles oh my~! Physical therapy office, full service salon, kids day care area, physical trainers, boxing area, geez I think thats close to being it. Parking is plentiful. Oh almost forgot TV's on every machine~!

Staff:
Always friendly and willing to help out. At almost all hours you'll see one of the trainers working out on their personal time and are usually approachable for quick questions. Machine repair forms are available should you find problems, i.e. a tread climber was broken as the right tread wouldn't come up as high as the left. I submitted a sheet and the very next day the machine was labeled off to be serviced and prevent anyone from being injured with its use. Greg, our membership coordinator, was also very helpful and took the time to explain everything as we took the introductory tour. He's always chatting with members and greets everyone warmly.

Value:
I'd say for everything you get its a steal at $99 bucks a month for the both of us with a year's commitment. NO enrollment fee~! Waived since we signed up after our first trial day, we were that impressed.

Kid tolerance:
You don't have to worry about young teenies running a muck as everyone is usually very courteous to one another. Time slots are set out and kids are welcome to the pool as well as basketball courts. Often times I'll see a mother or father with their kids having a great time in the pool. 2 lanes are always marked off for lane swimming and we really rarely have a problem with crowding.

Overall:
An excellent place to go. We've got a 15 minute commute and don't mind since the gym is that great. Friendly staff and tons of amenities you really can't go wrong. Worse comes to worse you just finish out your trial and never go back.

We've gone to the gym at different times and have never had a problem with crowding. A couple of times you'd have to work in on sets but that’s to be expected. There’s plenty of options so you can just move on to another machine to work that muscle group or just head over to the free weights. No real waiting for this or that. I usually work out after work during 6:30 to 9 pm I usually never have a problem with crowding. Though be willing to hit the ellipse trainer if a treadmill is taken. As long as you can put up with little things like that and this is the prefect gym to go to.

The best decision I ever made!

I have belonged to various gyms, health clubs and ymca's but none have compared to this club. Beverly Athletic Club is the BEST club I've ever joined. It has the best variety of equipment I've seen anywhere and there's even a personal television on most cardio to prevent boredom. They have some new virtual reality bikes that allow me to race against my friend or even my personal best. It makes training for the MS ride much easier. The staff is super friendly and there is no attitude like some other clubs. They have a plenty of classes that are included in the membership dues which are only $49 a month which is a steal compared to some other area clubs. They just did a huge renovation of the swimming pool and it is beautiful. Definitely worth checking out!

I worked out here on a visitor's pass and really liked the gym. I started out using a new piece of cardio equipment which combines a treadmill and elliptical (something I've always wanted to try) and moved on to the treadmill with my personal tv next. The ladies locker room was nice. I base this on the following, the lockers were large and plentiful. There were seats where you can sit to dry your hair (hair dryers supplied) & apply makeup. The steam room was great. This is all I tried out on this visit but enough for me to want to join. This is the opposite of my experience at Lynnfield's Boston Sports Club -- a very pricey fitness club that I didn't care for (overcrowded, way too many kids running around and the steamroom was horrible).
