Jon Loyte of Gloucester went to high school at St. John’s Prep where he played varsity Football, Baseball and Basketball.  From St. John’s he accepted a full football scholarship to attend SEC school Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.  He played Tight End there for two years catching passes from quarterback Jay Cutler, who now starts for the Chicago Bears.  Jon transferred after his sophomore year to come closer to home to play football at Boston College.  At BC, he also caught passes from another great quarterback, Matt Ryan, who is now the starter for the Atlanta Falcons.  Jon graduated from BC and played football professionally in the Arena Football league (AFL) this past season for the Mahoning Valley Thunder in Ohio, while also with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Buffalo Bills in preseason training camp in 2008.  With his collegiate and professional football experience his strength and conditioning coaches taught him a first-class approach to becoming bigger, faster and stronger, achieving peak physical fitness.  Jon’s personal training certification is through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and CPR/AED certification through the American Red Cross.
