Meet Your Salon Staff
Nicole has been a nail technician for 16 years. She is also an educator for IBD GELS and regularly answers technical support questions for IBD as well. She started out with a fashion design major and from there went onto working in costumes and makeup. With a strong interest in nails she went back to school to become a nail technician. After starting in a salon in Peabody doing nails she gradually learned all aspects of the business. Branching off from what she learned she owned and operated Salon La Cole' , a full service salon in Danvers for 8 1/2 years before moving to Solei to become Manager. As well as running the salon she is still doing nails and makeup. Specializing in gel nails and a variety of pedicures. She has been an instructor at BAC for over 10 years and currently teaches POWER and RIDE.
Lucia stared her career in the beauty industry as a hair stylist in 1991. She learned the art of cutting & coloring, while also enjoying facial waxing, makeup and manicures. She continued for 5 years before moving into sales for a local distributor for almost 2 years. Realizing her passion to be back in a salon full time she moved to management of a salon & spa in Boston's financial district. After coming back to the north shore to do nails at a couple of local salons and going back to school for esthetics, Lucia has finally come full circle. With her knowledge and experience she is now Solei's full time esthetician and a nail tech . Shaping the perfect eyebrow with as little pain as possible is defiantly her specialty.
Ken was a student of massage therapy & graduate of the Salter School in Malden Massachusetts, with experience in Swedish protocols, deep tissue techniques, reflexology, acupressure & myo-fascial release, with previous practices in downtown Boston's Newbury Street as well as downtown Salem's Pickering Wharf, well trained with over fifteen hundred hours.Ken has been an avid advocate in health practices, homeopathy, natural remedies, alternative medicines, with great focus on overall well-being, bikram yoga & inversion practices since 2001.
Ann has been a therapist at BAC for the past 7 years. Ann works with her clients to achieve their most beneficial and healing experience. She has studied energy work at the Polarity Realization Institute in Ipswich and incorporates this into her work. She has also studied sports, shiatsi and myofacial release at the Palmer Institute. She has taken several structural integration classes with Tom Myers. Ann looks forward to working with you.
Liana Joined Solei Salon in January 2009. Graduating from Blaine the Beauty Career School she immediately began assisting at Salon La COle' for 2 years. She has gained not only experience but also education from several coloring and cutting classes. While Liana excels at precision cuts and coloring, adding on a specialty blow-dry will make you leave her feeling like a new person.
Vanessa is an accomplished hair stylist, colorist as well as an nail technician at Solei . with 9 years experience . She graduated from Blaine Hair Academy and has continued her education with Goldwell classes. She has her hands in a little bit of everything Plan a day with Vanessa.
Mary Ann has been a Goldwell colorist/stylist for the past 15 years. After earning her degree in business and working in the corporate world for several years, she decided to follow her true passion and become a cosmetologist. Her goal is to provide her clients with the most up to date color and styles that meet their lifestyle and personality through in depth consultations.
